Hurry Curry Quinoa Recipe

Hurry Curry Quinoa 
Serving for one – multiply as needed 
You could make this dish with a wide variety of vegetable 
variations. This is just what I had on hand this 
particular moment. Adjust the seasoning to your own taste. 
WARNING: this recipe is very very mild. If you like spice, 
pump up the curry powder and even add a bit of garam 
masala. 
 
1/2 yam, peeled and chopped 
1/3 Cup Quinoa 
1/2 Cup chopped onion 
1 tsp. white miso 
1 Splash of mirin 
1/8 tsp. Turmeric 
1/8 tsp. Curry powder 
1 tsp. rice bran oil 
1 1/2 Cups good water 
 
Place all of the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.  
Turn the heat down to low and put a lid on the pot. Simmer 
for 25 minutes or until all of the water has been absorbed.
